need some good advice

can anyone recommend a good hu with bluetooth where the phone actually
works where they can hear you on the other end.............

it's probably not going to the HU you need, but one that has an excellent microphone. Maybe one that incorporates dual mics or noise cancelling.

I have the Pioneer AVIC-Z120BT. My wife says my voice is "crystal clear" through its Bluetooth.

I've done the alpines with no problems but there's also an amount of installer error involved here. If you put the mic where it's obstructed it's going to affect the sound.

Pioneer AVIC-Z120BT defiantly works great as long as the mic is close to the driver side.
