Where to attach ground wire?

Anybody have a tip on where to attach the black ground wire when installing an aftermarket HU? Having trouble finding a spot...

I went to some metal right behind the stock unit and haven't had any problems.

I use any of the 4 surrounding bolts around the shift knob they work great.

So...think I may have picked a bad spot. I'm getting very bad FM reception (on stations that are always clear) and I did make sure the antenna was securely connected. Could this be the sign of a bad ground point? Everything else works well.

Does the 370 have an antenna amp like the 350? Perhaps that isn't connected?

I think you did not hook up the blue wire from the antenna adapter to the blue wire of the new head unit. That will wake up the powered antenna. Basically what cat said.

You were right....the blue wire was with the antenna adaptor harness and I completely overlooked it the first time around.

Thanks!!
