Voice control system

The 370z has yet to be launched in the UK but i will probably get one as soon as they are. I had a look in the manual on here and was reading about the voice control system. I have a similar system in my Jaguar and it works well. How well does it work on the Z? can you control the climate temperature or just turn it on and off?

Yea you can control Climate temperature and turn it off and specify passenger or driver side. There is a video on youtube and here. Just do a search for Nav video also you can check on youtube for the G37 nav videos. All the commands are the exact same.

cool, have looked up the infiniti and the system looks good. Better than that i the Jaguar XF infact!

I didn't think you could countrol the temperature or that the system was zone controlleed in the Z. I got to tell everyone though..my 370 is maxed out with factory options and the electronics work beautifully...and voice works just about evertime I use it. Played with the voice controls in a Lexus ISF while waiting for the sales guy to find a delaer plate and it sucked bad compared to the nissan. Maybe the G has more features like the back-up cam. I am thinking that this is the same head unit so I hope I can add a cam easily.

Is it possible to input addresses for the nav via voice?

My_Tampa_Z 04-23-2009 01:54 AM

Yes, and input an entire address while moving!
I have done this several times already.
