whoa, expensive.

Edit: I don't keep up with aftermarket units, so that could actually be cheap. Looks expensive to me though :D

Yeah, plus I am not sure 100% a full touchscreen is right for a car, the Pioneer 700/900 models look just as nice, plus you get a volume knob and a few tactile buttons for menus.

I believe last I checked, the dnx9140 was coming in May 09. I'm getting the 7140 (release date in March - although that is almost over). If you don't want to wait, check the 7140 specs. Not a whole lot of difference.

Most noticeable difference is the 800x480 screen with the DNX-9140 and DDX-814. I believe this is the newest feature for 2009.

i own the dnx8120 and its practically identical i don't see any real differences. i didn't look into it that much but it seems pretty similar

I installed the DNX9140 Last night and so far so good. Still learning. I used to own a cadillac CTS with GPS and the touch screen nav was awesome - so I wanted to get a radio that was full 2 din touchscreen as well. Crutchfield.com suggested the DNX9140.
