Anybody else make spare tire box?

I had my Wicked c.a.s. stealthbox on order for about 3 months but there box is made for a base 370 mine is a sport(same spare as a Nismo).

I can make it myself but I'm knee deep in modifying my car and really don't have much time for that let alone make a sub box in my spare tire well.

I would really like to find someone who can make one like Wicked did but of course for sport/Nismo spare.

Any help would be appreciated.

I already have a kenwood shallow mount 10in sub,I just need a box with about .6 cf I have already figured out how to do it with fiberglass but my car is on jack stands, plus I'm too busy to dedicate time to building one so I prefer to buy it.

Thanks I appreciate it,the guys at Wicked c.a.s. make a great product but unfortunately it only fits a base spare(steel wheel I have alloy wheel)if I can't get one I'll build it in the spring,

I'm just getting tired of working on my car I've been at it hard and heavy for 2.5 months.

Let me asap if I can't find a nice box then I'll make mine out of glass in the spring.

Wicked CAS 01-24-2011 10:05 AM

One option is to use the base spare in the trunk with our enclosure. Not a very good option but it is an option.

Baer383 01-24-2011 12:25 PM

I canceled my order but I did tell cory I was not going to make my box till spring so if you guys can get this sport spare issue straight I will buy it from you.

dont think thatd work so well...considering the reason the spare is different is because the sports need to be able to clear the larger brakes. swapping spare tires would be pointless since you wouldnt be able to use the spare anyway!

anyone have experience Wicked c.a.s. stealthbox? does it vibrate agains the spare tire of the subframe??

Our box is lined with carpet where it sits in the spare, there should be no rattling. If you have a carpet over the subwoofers, some subwoofers will make noise, not all but some will. We do have the option to get a Trunk Carpet with a cutout for the subwoofer.

Tell Cory to stay on top of the 370 sport spare issue I still haven't made mine yet.

Still really can't believe no one has made one of these, but there is a ton of suspension and performance parts.:shakes head:

Thats a nice box but I need one with .6 cf of air space for a Kenwood 10in sub I have.

Unclemeaty 02-09-2011 10:42 AM

I made my own spare-tire box. I posted about it here. Its strong enough to stand on, and you cant even tell I have anything installed. The amps are in the forward area in front of the spare tire. The subwoofer is a Pioneer Flat series. The newer Pioners are IB Flat series and should also work. This is a 10" subwoofer being powered by a Hifonics Thor Generation X (Zed Audio) 125w X 2 amp (400x1 bridged).

Yeah the 10in Pioneer subs only need .3-.4 cf the kenwood I have requires .6 at a minimum,I can build mine with fiberglass (I've done it before)I'm trying to see if anybody makes one like Wicked cas,b/c I don't have time to do it.

mine is .5 cu ft, it should work for 10 in shallow sub.

That box looks awful small for .5 cf, thats why I will use fiberglass if I can't get someone to build it by spring.

Baer383 02-12-2011 08:29 PM

Still hoping someone makes one soon.:hello:
