How much would it cost (Nav/Speakers/Camera/Install)

In a base model, how much should it run me for:

double din Nav
2 pretty nice speakers (or do i need more?)
Backup Camera
And have someone install it

And what setup would you recommend? Id rather not get an amp or sub unless they really help. Space is at a premium in this car. With no AMP, which head unit should have the best sound quality? Pioneer gets good reviews overall but bad for SQ!

Kenwood DNX9960=$1150
Kenwood CMOS300 backup camera =$265
Polk Audio DB6501 6.5-Inch 2-Way Component System
=$154. I found a pair as low as $100

btw, this is what I'll plan for my setup. If you have time, ask a buddy to help with installation. Save $$$$$$. here's the link for all the installation videos sliknik

I see you're in Northeast. Send Matt a pm.Nissan 370Z Forum - View Profile: bigaudiofanat He will probably give you the BEST rate ON INSTALL and do a good install than Bestbuy or other audio shops (these guys will charge you much more money)

thanks. good luck.

I would go for alpine for a head unit if you want a quality signal being put out.

Another plus to them is you can use the add on power amp that will boost the output of the head unit to 50 watts RMS than you can run some nice polk mm series of step up to the focal polyglass.

Also I would be happy to do the install for you.

I had Matt (BigAudioFanAt) do my install.

I had the following put in...

Pioneer x920bt
Polk db6501 component speakers
Kenwood cmos200 rear camera
Metra dash kit
Metra AXXES steering wheel control
Pioneer iPod cable

Total cost including installation by Matt $xxxx

Definitely won't find a "pro" shop that can even come close to that price!

Sounds great to me!

I dont know how you guys go with a head unit without a volume knob. I cant deal with hitting a button for volume...
