Navigation Package IPOD Interface Issue...
 

Anyone having an issue with the IPOD Interface cable to NAV System?

When I first got my Z I had the IPOD NANO 3rd Generation and it worked flawlessly...however about two months ago I got the NOT CONNECTED Message....???? The interface cable freezes my IPOD NANO??? and doesn't charge it???

I recently got me an IPOD 80G Classic....
When I connect it, my IPOD Says "CONNECTED" However, my Stereo says "NOT CONNECTED"??? but the interface cable does charge my IPOD Classic???

Anyone know of the fix, or is there a dealership NAV Update needing to be installed???

If this is a repost??? Please link to another FIX Page, I tried searching under IPOD Interface, IPOD Connection, and just plain IPOD to find some assistance.....

I also saw the APPLE Product Issue PDF....with the 5V versus 12V , However my IPOD is a 3rd GEN and I have the CLassic...which they worked before but not now????

Change the cord for the ipod?

Assuming he has the 2009, it is a custom cable from Nissan, but may be he could borrow from another Z owner?

I have a 2009, and my classic is working fine. Nav has not been updated.

I will try gettin a new cable ordered...appreciate it and yes I have a 2009
