question for u audiophiles

I'm not a audiophile but i know good sound when i hear it and im wondering
about something.... i came across this by accident... i listen to most of my music using a aux cable plugged into my iphone which of course is plugged into the aux input of my base head unit. which i upgraded with jbl component
speakers.. let me get to the point. so i burned a cd today with the exact same songs on it and played it today and the sound quailty was a whole lot
better, highs, lows everything.so what gives... im using itunes if that matters.

Should read this write up I did. Will open your eyes. Post number one

The ipod digital to analog converter is poor compared to good ones, your best bet is to use the bottom conector for a Low level output instead of the amplified signal coming out from the headphone jack. I use itunes as well but I import my music uncompressed from cd's than I use the bottom port on the ipod for full control voer it and better quality music through my head unit.

what do i need to get to use the bottom port on my iphone to play my music
instead of using the headphone jack.because there's no doubt a burned cd sounds better than using a aux. cable

Smoething like this

Newegg.com - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, LED LCD TV, Digital Cameras and more!)

You want the ipod conector on the bottom going to rca cables than use male to Male connectors to go to a Y splitter that goes to a h3.5 mm jack.

Thanks Big i'll give it a try and let u know how it works out

No problem if that does not get you what you want than it is time to upgrade to a head unit with dedicated ipod controls.
