Where do you set your ipod eq's?

Just wondering where most of you set your ipod or iphone eq''s on when it's plugged in. There is about 30 to choose from. I leave mine set to off.

and sound check is set to on.

Flat or off and no sound check. When I listen to music I believe that the artist and recording people made the music sound good so it should be played how it is. That is my opinion.

I think personal preference comes into play. So does hearing loss. :D

Couldn't agree more.

Bigaudio- You're making an assumption that everyone's system sounds exactly the same when set to flat or off. The type of amp you're using, headunit defaults, and gains have everything to do with the sound. Plus the type of speakers used has a big influence in sound as well. Some music sounds like it's playing off of AM radio without the benefit of using an EQ / PreAmp.

Now, I'm not saying one should or shouldn't use an EQ and that you're wrong. I'm just saying that what the music producers created and how it sounds on the hardware the end user is pushing it through will rarely ever line up/sound the same. There's just too many crappy car audio brands out there enticing people to save money on crap gear. That sways the baseline significantly.
