Incoming phone #s not being displayed- Touring Bluetooth/iPhone 4
Phone numbers for incoming calls use to come up on the stereo screen
with my AT&T Quickfire, but now that I've paired the iPhone 4 with my car's Bluetooth system I don't getphone numbers being displayed for incoming calls- just a blank stereo screen (I don't have the Nav. package). Others have this issue with the Bluetooth system? Any fixes or threads I missed? |
Also, I got the iOS 4.1, same issue
|
I don't have this issue, but then again I rarely look down at the stereo screen anymore. I have a phone mount just to the right of my gauge cluster and I can quickly see the name of the caller instead.
Could always be something with the I4. Try pairing your old phone and see if it's still displaying numbers with it again. |

I guess no one knows a fix for this one :(
|
Have you tried to pair it on another car to see if the caller ID works? have you tried to delete the phone profile, and pair it again?

Re-pairing the phone did not work- I'll have to try it on another 370's system. I think it's just an iPhone thing, the Nissan blue tooth page just reports "no information" for whether it's supported or not
|
Got a couple calls in yesterday that both had numbers- seems to be working now! Maybe re-paring did the trick : )
|
Thats nice to hear.
|
Unfortunately numbers only showed up for a couple calls, now no numbers are showing again. I'll power cycle the phone & repair to see if it helps
|
I haven't had any issues with my iPhone4 and the bluetooth. Except that I can't dial from a phone book or contacts. I have to dial by speaking each number

number displayed on the car stereo every time? |
Phone numbers for incoming calls are still not displaying
consistently on the radio display (Touring model, no NAV). Anybody able to get caller ID to work with iPhone 4 on the 370?? |

I have an Iphone 4 and no nav and as far as I can remember it would always show the number.

Maybe try updating your iPhone 4 software?? on a side not has anyone figured out how to just send a contact to the H/U instead of programing a number by speaking the whole number each time?? I cant figure out how to do this on my phone |
I haven't had incoming calls display on my radio since the first month I bought my vehicle. I have the most current iphone software available with the 3GS. Occasionally a number will appear, but the majority of the time the screen is blank. Is this an iphone issue or Nissan issue and what are the solutions?

on the non-nav, Touring radio display. Kind of defeats the purpose of the hands-free if you have to reach for your phone while driving to see who's calling. Hopefully someone will provide helpful information on this soon so numbers of incoming calls can be recognized by the blue-tooth and displayed. |
Thats weird. I have HTC HD7, and it even reads out the name sometimes, rather than phone number (which I am assuming is only if you have first name and no last name).
P.S. I have a touring w/o Nav. |
Nissan can you fix this please??
People post your issues here so they can see we care about getting this right. What's the hands free system worth if you have to reach for your phone while you're driving to see who's calling? |
I just posted my experience on this today. Your phone should just sync automatically and show names (based on your compatibility criteria, it's the same as my Samsung).
Nissan Bluetooth | Phone Details | Nissan USA Search down to your car/phone level. I bet it's the iPhone software because names shouldn't sometimes work and then not. My car phone book shows and speaks the entry's full name when reviewing, but I don't know what incoming calls look like yet as I haven't had the car long (I imagine it will show names however). I can test and report back. I know it's not the same phone but the functionality should be the same. [Edit] incoming calls show me the name of the person. Also, I think if your phone has automatic download built in, you can't create individual entries but I could be wrong. |
Yep, seen this page. iPhone comparability was not claimed. New iPhone update came out a couple of days ago, I'll try it and let y'all know
|
New updates haven't helped, I'm at iOS 4.3.3, still no phone numbers being displayed on
the CD changer display :( |
Bringing this up again before the iPhone 5 rolls out.
Anybody consistently getting caller phone numbers to display when connected to their non-nav Touring? #iPhone4/Nissanwishlist |
Mine works everytime that it's NOT on vibrate.
(I have the latest firmware) |
Cool- I'll have to try that out
|
iPhone 4s with 5.0 IOS here with same issue of numbers not showing up onscreen. This blows because my Samsung Omnia i910 worked perfectly.
|
My new iPhone 4S is displaying caller ID just fine. Not one instance where it hasn't worked.

Wish I could help the OP. If it were me, if re-pairing didn't work I would hook the phone up to iTunes and click "restore". Um...this is a stock iPhone running iOS5xxx, right? Not jailbroken or anything? |
