Order Total: $176.62

Do we need all this to install an avh-4200dvd in a base z?

kenchan 08-15-2010 02:14 PM

you will want to get the harness, antenna adapter, and PAC-PS steering wheel control module.

the bezel trim can be re-used on the base.

but if you want to get into it, make sure you get the rear view camera too. :p

pac-ps allows u to use the steering wheel... but steering wheel only has the next options (allows u to skip or go back to previous song)... volume will still work... so basically $45 for that option... u think its worth it?

The steering wheel controls is definitely worth it. Unless you know you will be running aftermarket steering wheels.

I have a 2009 Chicane Yellow Base 370Z with Manual Transmission. I have an album posted so you can check it out. I'm still waiting for all my parts to come in...
Heres what I've purchased..

Received...
Pioneer X920bt
Metra Axxess Universal Steering wheel control
Metra Nissan 2007-Up Antenna Adapter
Metra Nissan 2007-Up Harness

Still Waiting for...
Polk DB6501 6.5 Inch Component Speaker System
PAC IC-PIOUSB50V iPod Adapter Cable (Same as the Pioneer CD50IUV)
Pioneer ND-BC4 Rear View Camera
Metra Nissan 370Z DD Dash Kit

Going to have BigAudioFanAt do the install. I've been really impressed with his knowledge and experience with 370Z's in general. I believe he's done installs on about 12 370Z's already! Very excited about getting this done!

Sounds good! Yah, I think I'm going to do the Polks in my Z too next year.

Make sure you take some snaps when big's working on your car (for Jay's sake). :D

Snagged one, but it's going in the Rav4. When I'm in the Z I don't care where I am or where I'm going.
