Multiple USB inputs on a HU
I've been researching navigation head units lately, specifically the Kenwood ones. I'd like to use the FM Navteq traffic tuner, AND have my ipod hooked up. Both use USB, and it appears that all Kenwood HUs except the 9960 have only one USB connection. I'm guessing that the HU doesn't support USB splitters. So then unless I get the 9960, I have to choose between the traffic tuner, or the ipod?

Didn't know the tragic tune used usb thought it had a dedicated port.

Yeah the traffic tuner needs a USB port. So if you want to run a traffic tuner AND an ipod/iphone at the same time you need 2 usb inputs on the HU

If the device conforms to the usb standard you should be able to use a hub. However you might need to supply 5v to it.

You can not us a usb hub in car audio usb ports they do not understand what that is or have the ability to accept multiple usb inputs at once.

Then again, this guy has a traffic tuner and his iphone hooked up to a 6960 and it seems to work, so now I'm all confused...
