iPhone 4 iOS 4 & 2010 370Z

Everything is working nicely. One issue I have found is that the Artist list scrolls much slower now. This happened on my 3GS upgraded to iOS4 as well. Hope apple fixes this issue.

Otherwise everything sounds great and all controls work!

iPhone4 incompatible with 2010 NAV

My iPhone4 unit does not download the handset phonebook into the nav system. Can anyone confirm this with their system?

xTIMMYxCOREx 06-30-2010 07:11 AM

Haven't tried that but I will today

Anybody have an update on the Apple iPhone4 and NAVi bluetooth bug? (No handset phone directory shows up)? I tried emailing Nissan tech support and all I get is silence. The Nissan dealer is clueless and Apple blames the Nissan bluetooth interface.

Nissan has released a TSB regarding your issue:

VOLUNTARY SERVICE CAMPAIGN NISSAN NAVIGATION SOFTWARE UPDATE

CAMPAIGN ID #: P0337 APPLIED VEHICLES:
2010 Altima (L32, CL32, and L32HV) Sedan, Coupe and Hybrid
2010 Maxima (A35)
2010 370Z (Z34) Roadster (Convertible) Only

Check Service COMM to confirm campaign eligibility.

INTRODUCTION

On the Applied Vehicles listed above, the navigation, mobile phone, and iPodŽ functions may not be working as intended. To remedy this potential condition, Nissan is conducting this voluntary service campaign to update the navigation software at no charge for parts or labor.

I've sent the complete TSB PDF to AK for posting.

I took my nav system to my dealer on my 2010 coupe because i had a problem with check ipod or usb memory when my ipod was plugged in.

They wouldnt give me the software update because it was only for the convertibles and then they ordered a new navigation system to put in for my car...which is what im waiting for now...

Is there any special configuration you have set on your phone? Initially I could get the in dash unit on my 2010 370z Coupe to read my iPhone 4 (which came preinstalled with 4.0.1) but since I powered off and on the phone I can not get it to read. The system says Check USB, everytime I plug in the iPhone.

Does anybody know if Nissan is planning on updating their software to support iPod out since the new iOS software supports it?

I had zome connection issues with my 3Gs with OS 3, but since updating to OS4, I haven't been able to connect (check USB) at all. I hope Nissan and/or Apple has a fix.

So I have found the iOS 4 does not emulate the iPod interface correctly. If I add the same set of playlist to an 80GB iPod and an iPhone 3GS running iOS4, the iPhone can not scroll and often show "no title" but the iPod works perfectly.

This sucks I am reading this as my iPhone 3gs is updating to iOS4!!!!

LMBmikeZ let me know what happens when you try and scroll quickly through song or artist lists after the update. Does the interface lag or ed up showing "no data" a lot?

Any update on this?? I'm hoping to get a 2010 with the nav system and I'm really hoping to use my iPhone 4 with it seamlessly!!

Thanks for everyone's time testing and reporting!
