Measurements & Amp Install Location

Been trying to get a figure in my head about where I want to mount the amps. I am going with

JL Audio Slash 1000/1v2 & 300/2v2

I am digging where the amp is mounted here..
California 370Z Install

My question is can one of you guys give me the width measurements behind both the seats?

The 1000/1v2 takes up 19.70 in. x 9.25 in. x 2.36 in, and I am trying to gauge if it will fit.

Thanks guys..:icon14:

For what its worth, I have a 450/4 which is the same size as that 1000/1, I tried to do the behind the seat mount but there's just not enough room for that guy.. I just ended up putting it in the spare tire location.

I'm using the MRP-F300 and it has these dimensions: •10-11/16"W x 2-7/16"H x 9-9/16"D

How much rear travel do you lose on the seat doing that?

I put my amp under the styrofoam in the back center. I have my fingers crossed that it won't overheat.

Fly me out there and we can figure something out LOL J/K.
Either behind the seats where I mounted them in that thread or lower behind the seats would work fine.

The seat will still go all the way back. That amp works just fine for me and is plently loud for my tastes, and the bridged channels provide plenty of thump to the sub for me. I also don't even have the gains on it turned up.

Interesting. I wish mine was more easily accessible. I haven't even looked to see what kind-of job those hacks I had install it did.
