I was told that the Nismo has a different spare tire compared to other 370zs. I don't know if the backside of the rim and tire is the same.

Right now we are consentration on the round subs, Maybe in the future. If there is enough demand, However round versus square always ends up with the round being the winner. (production purposes)

Will it fit the Nismo models? The Nismo has a different spare tire.

Spare tire on th ebase model is smaller 18" versus 19" spare I believe. we accomodated for the enclosure to fit the bigger spare. However time will show.

Just to be clear...are you saying the magic box is designed to fit the 18" spare of the base model, so it should also fit the larger opening of the 19" spare? Is that correct?

Just making sure it will fit my base model.

So you said that the first one has shipped already? That is good news for the rest of us that ordered.

Yes,

I have 8 orders with the special price I have provided. I will extend it to 2 more spots.

Boxes take 2 days to make. 2 Piece molds have to be set and then we have to put them together and let them dry to cure. We then carpet it and install the sub if ordered with a sub. We will be shipping them as soon as they are ready.

sub box

How does it sound with a JL 13.5 sub and JL amp (sound clips)?

Please PM back a price for space tire, 13.5" JL sub, and JL amp?

Also, does the sub box fit with 370Z with sport package spare tire?

Liquid_G 04-10-2010 08:17 PM

Hey Wicked C.A.S., this enclosure looks amazing.. Definitely interested but had a couple questions..

I currently have 2 JL 10W3 subs (in a Zenclosures box) powered by a JL 450/4.. In your opinion, how would the 13TW5 in your enclosure with the JL HD900/5 amp compare to what I've currently got?

And I were to go with that setup, where would be a good spot to mount that HD900/5 amp?

THanks

I plan to mount the JL audio amp in front of the spare tire well, where the plastic foam piece is located.

Hey Wicked C.A.S.,

I really like your enclosure and I plan on getting it, but I am a serious track driver so wait is important, so I plan on taking out the spare and the tools to save like 40lbs, so it will just be a JL HD600-4 amp and a JL 10w6v2 woofer in the trunk (and my lightweight Braille battery is somewhat there, but is ahead of the trunk behind the strut bar). I was just wondering how low the enclosure goes in the trunk cause I know you guys made the spare usable so you would give space for it, so if could I place the amp down in that area. Would it be ok or is it a kinda of ridiculous idea...Just to clarify, I want to use the enclosure and put the amp under it in the space for the spare. I can work with the wiring by drilling and other ideas...Give me your opinion if it's a good idea.

Thanks

No sound clips, Personaly I thing a video of a sound clip is useless because it realy does not give you the proper representation of what the sub is doing in the car.

2 different animals here.
900/5 will certainly have more power, I would not even do rear speakers I would run the 900/5 front and rear channels bridged to the front speakers. 13tw5 will certainly keep up with what you are used to, will need to be properly tuned. There is the spot right under the strut bar where there is foam and it is a void spot for an amp install.

our enclosure needs the spare tire to sit in, and 10w6 will not fit unles you invert the sub in which case it will protrude in to the trunk are. I recomment you get a 13tw5, I can trade your 10w6 in if you like. However you will ned the spare tire to allow our enclosures to work.

Just to confirm, there should be no issues with NISMO Z fitment right? Also, are there any suggested installes in th Killeen/Fort Hood, TX area? I just want to see if I can be lazy and have a decent shop install my goodies before I take my road trip. Thanks.

Rob
