OK, so I finally went to a dealer that knew what the heck was going on. Turns out the cable didn't come with the car, but you can order one. The trick is that the parts guy has to look in audio parts, not in accessories.

FYI this is for the 09 model, the 2010 model apparently uses USB.

Don't remember exactly, but it was about $35, after paying the ripoff CA tax :icon17:
