2015 370Z NISMO Navigation Update
 

I currently have Map Version 12 North America installed and am looking for Map Version 13 or greater for North America. It has to be the CDROM version. Looking to buy it from someone who has already installed it.

Not sure if this is compatible with 370Z.

A vehicle specific search on above nissan site comes up with this.:

"The map update for this navigation system is discontinued and is no longer available for purchase through this site or at dealers/distributors.

Please note: Map updates are typically offered for approximately 5 years after the last year the system was sold on new vehicles.

When I entered my program version ( found on the info screen) into the purchase cart, it seemed to have accepted it. I am going to chat with them to find out if it will work for us.

They said that it does not work.


Possibly version GEND NA L.A might.

Just to let you know, even if you get the navigation update DVDs, you won't be able to update the maps.

The updates are encrypted and the "license" number you get with the purchase is the decryption key for the maps. This key is generated from the navigation ID, and only works on that navigation ID that was specified at time of purchase.
