Not both look tacky. If you really want to do it right workshop 12 did a full custom kit.

+1. It'll look clean and OEM and they are constantly active and providing software updates for their brainiac app.

i would, but not for the outrageous prices they're charging for a few pieces of plastic.

It's way more then a piece of plastic, it's R&D, building their own integration to can bus and programming. Plus the ability to remove the android tablet and take it with you. I'm sold, getting one for my G37, sense I tried the horrendous Tesla style screen.

I like how no one actually answered the question and just deflected their own ignorance with a deflection to another head unit.

"Hey have you tried that new burger?"

Yeah this unit blocks the climate control which is probably why the original poster didn't ask about it.

They both look terrible either way. If you're going to spend that much might as well get the Brainiac...
