Aftermarket Speakers, Which Setup
Hi all,
Just seeing what set up to go with. The stock speakers are like paper at times. Looking for replacement speakers and lil more power. I have a aftermarket Kenwood already. Any suggestions? |
JL Audio. But they need to be amped up

Watching … I was quite amazed at how bad the stock "Bose" system in my Sport sucks.

Truth. Didn't expect much from previous Zs but was very let down with current speakers.

They aren’t that bad in the roadster. Best thing to do is put decent tyres on. Michelin Pilot Super Sports reduce the road noise Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

It comes down to your price range? What do you listen too? Are you going to add an amp?

You really cannot go wrong with JL Audio. Dynamat the panels first though

If you really want good HiFi in the car, forget about Rear Speakers and double coat the panels in Dynamat so they clunk like an Audi Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
I wish I just simply had the Bose, unfortunately I don't, so its sounds like 2 coffee filter speakers with sound coming out of them. Not like huge on thumping, but like Bose level performance.
