Installed Kenwood DNX574s with Maestro RR for steering wheel controls
RR has all steering wheel controls plus each button can be customized

I can push and hold volume up to turn on front camera and volume down to show gauges

I installed two switches so that I can turn on rear camera while driving and to turn front camera power on or off

Very clean!

In your schematic, what is connector M81?

VileKnight 06-07-2018 08:58 AM

Nice and clean. I like it.

canmark 07-08-2018 02:48 PM

Sorry but I have not been on the site for a while
M81 is the connector to the factory audio unit

Thanks for posting. I have the same Kenwood deck as you and am considering the Maestro. Are you happy with it?

looks great, almost exactly what I want to do. Except with the DDX9905s

can you source the front camera? I have a rear camera already installed..

Were you able to get check engine codes to work ?

Yes I’m happy with it. If you want to keep your steering wheel controls and want customized buttons then it’s a good choice

The front camera is a Coolint CT-102BL from Amazon. Not sure if it is still available.

Not sure what you mean? Everything works. The Maestro connects to the OBII and displays the guages through it. It doesn’t allow you to read codes directly like a code reader plugged into the OBII connector at least I haven’t been able to.

PceReaper 11-28-2018 04:29 PM

Yeah on other vehicles it reads codes and such and aparently maestros site says were supposed to be able too but I cant seem to get it
