Phone to NAV screen

So I've been wondering for sometime about the RCA inputs thats in the center console. When I scroll through the media such as Bluetooth and aux there's one that comes up as a blue screen. Could I use a hdmi wire that connects to those 3 jack inputs and connect it to my phone so I could have what ever is on my phones screen and audio onto my navigation screen and the cars speakers? For things like YouTube,Netflix, etc?

PS: I am clueless when it comes to things like these! Sorry if it's dumb question~~~~

Planning to buy these, would these work?

The apple adapter will work however because HDMI has to do a handshake with the host it is getting ready to transfer too, I don't think you're going to get any audio or video from that HDMI to component adapter. You'd need one of these

So I would need that, hdmi to rca wire and hmdi to iPhone 7 adapter to make it work? Why did they make it that way, seems like such a hassle? What were those 3 rca inputs in the center console originally meant for and it's actual function??

Those inputs are meant to be used for composite/analog audio video input. Additionally, they will not work (on my Z) when the car is moving.

re: composite video in ....

I believe if you install this:

NISSAN 370Z 2010-2018 VIDEO IN MOTION

You'll get around the issue of navigation not letting you enter things while the car is moving AND the issue of the AUX display only working when you're parked.

(That's $200 ... but I gotta say I'm thinking about adding one for my car.)

My guess is, you could use one of these HDMI to RCA composite converters to get any HDMI audio and video converted to the inputs on our Z:

https://www.amazon.com/HDMI-3RCA-CVB...e%2Bvideo&th=1

Once you can do THAT, you've got all sorts of options for connecting things up, including an in-car computer like a Mac Mini or Intel NUC PC -- although I really don't know how good any of that would look via an analog composite video output? The newer iPhones have a Lightning to HDMI adapter available though, so you could at least get one hooked up that way and run apps like Waze or Apple Maps.
