Do you have a sub setup in your Z?
Hello all,
I am trying to decide which way I want to go with my sub woofer build on my Z. I have a 12" sub that I had in my frontier laying in my basement and its just gathering dust. I am going to install it and the amplifier in my Z. I want to get a general vote on what you did and why? How did you deal with the compromise of space? Did you lose the spare tire and go below the floor? Did you put the sub behind the strut brace and then use the spare tire space for more storage space? Did you then get a flat tire after chucking your spare out? Do you just want to make fun of how pointless it is to put a sub in a sports call? All opinions are welcome :) Just curious KBC |
Checkout the WickedCAS corner box. Holds a 10" Sub which is plenty in a Z

I am interested in doing a fiberglass box like that, as I have never done a fiberglass box but I am thinking that wood will be less likely for me to make look bad as I have successfully painted MDF before with excellent results. (Carpet doesn't really appeal to me if I can see the box). |
Chuck the spare. I've got a 12" box, that's easily removed for AutoX
