For steering remote, I bought a PAC CP5 but haven't installed it so I can't comment on if it sucks or not. Most people get the ASWC and like it. I have also heard good thinks about the iDatalink Maestro SWC.

How well it works, I can not comment on since I haven't installed mine...

I can comment on the performance of the CP5 now... Mine didn't work at all. I even opened a support ticket and they had me try it every which way, even metering out the voltage fluctuations from the remote wires to confirm they were working. In the end, their support couldn't figure out why it wasn't recognizing button presses. I went and bought an ASWC-1, connected it to the same wires, and it worked on the first try.
