6x9 boxes in the hatch
 

I bought my car with some aftermarket audio in it. It has a bazooka tube and some 6x9s in boxes in the hatch. I has an amp behind the seat and a Kenwood double DIN touchscreen head unit that I like.

The problem is the 6x9 boxes. They're velcro'd down to the floor mat, but they don't stay put because on hard braking or cornering, they fall over and take the rear mat with them.

I would prefer to have a single box to mount both speakers in that goes across the rear hatch, but have been unable to find anything off the shelf that will work for that. A bigger box will stay put better. Anyone else have ideas? I could build a custom box I suppose, but it's 110 degrees right now and I don't feel like it....lol

There are lots of options. Try searching. Wicked CAS has a box that fits nice and secure in the hatch without taking up a lot of room.

Thanks for the reply. I did some searching in this forum. Looks like that setup is for subs, and it's for the one side only...Looking for something that fits 2 speakers - one on each side or perhaps both speakers next to each other in the center.
