Need help

I connected my sub and speakers (900 watts total) and car ran fine on the way to work there was some feedback (popping noises) and on the way home car felt like i lost a cylinder, shaky and no power, i pulled over, disconnected the amp and car ran fine, does that mean i need a capacitor?

Are you sure you had the terminals hooked up correctly/tight after the install?

A capacitor is a poor fix at best. As per TerribleONE, make sure all wiring is done properly.

Definitely not a capacitor issue... Wiring issue, as stated above by others. First thing I would guess would be power wire shorting to ground somewhere.

ok, thanks alot guys, i forgot to mention that sound would not work either so that makes sense, i will go over all the wires.
