Stock Navi Screens

Anyone have pictures of all the different screens available in the stock navi unit? like climate control etc..?

bigaudiofanat 11-11-2009 02:15 PM

Are you talking about aftermarket head units? I am not sure I fallow the question. No aftermarket head unit will control your climate control and all but the will control your audio and all those features. They have aftermarket dash kits that will allow you to install aftermarket head units.

I can take some pictures/video tonight and post it for you. The way the stock navi flows from one page to the next is really nice.

What is HKS Camp 2?

The long-awaited return of HKS’ CAMP system is now a reality with the release of CAMP2. CAMP2 is an all-in-one engine multi-meter system that is incorporated with a vehicle’s on-board factory or aftermarket monitor.

The launch of the CAMP2 comes just as HKS celebrates its 35th Anniversary. The first generation CAMP was released by HKS in 1996. At that time, it was the first monitoring system of its kind allowing users to view vehicle engine information. During the time of CAMP’s initial release, on-board factory monitors were still rarities in cars available in North America and aftermarket units were not as commonly seen as they are today. CAMP2 is now available for purchase through your authorized HKS dealer.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

* Users can view up to 6 simultaneous readings while monitoring up to 24 data signals from the vehicles OBD2 port and optional HKS Sensors.
* Installation is simple and connects to the vehicle’s self-diagnostic OBD2 port enabling the CAMP2 to function on a variety of vehicles and applications.
* CAMP2’s menu features are user switchable to Metric or SAE readings according to user region.
* ECO Drive – Programmable calculations for fuel costs, average fuel consumption, and fuel efficiency lets the user monitor real time data readings. (Vehicle applications vary, ECO option is only available to vehicles with the ability to read Injector and Speed data)
* An included remote control allows the user to switch between functions and modes. The remote control receiver is separate from the base unit allowing convenient, user friendly placement.
* CAMP2 allows map editing for the F-CON S/SZ/iS.

Hand brake has nothing to do with Camp 2. The whole point of installing camp 2 is to monitor various temps/a/f ratio/air volume/volt etc while you drive. You can monitor ALL THESE if you want while you're driving

WHy is that? you're mixing up watching dvd while moving vs camp 2. This is different.

right..but im thinkin of it like this..

those video inputs work based on the hand brake being up. meaning that while hte camp 2 will obviously record the data, i won't be able to switch to that video mode while im driving to have that info displayed unless the hand brake is up right?

bigaudiofanat 11-11-2009 03:29 PM

No as it stands factory you will not be able to see the diagnostic screen while driving. You will have to do a bypass for the video to be displayed. AK it is not like the aftermarket head units that can be bypassed really easily.
