Question about base (non-bose) door speakers

yes, another question about door speakers, however no one has stated specifics.

I was looking for a little more uhmf from the door speakers so I saw this at best buy with good reviews.

Kicker CS65 612" Coaxial Speakers with Polypropylene Woofer Cones Pair Black 40CS654 - Best Buy

Now, these speakers are a 2 way. I didn't use a spacer, i just tried one of the speakers on the left door to compare to the right door base speakers. The kickers have some good highs, however the OEM base speaker has more better low and mids. The F? Thought anything is better than stock?

From what I can see, the oem base door speakers are 6.5 woofers? Also I noticed when I use Balance feature to distinguish left and right speakers, front and back. the speakers on the dash are not working, nor are the speakers behind the seats? Only door speakers on base I am guessing?

THE F?

Any help much appreciated, flame on me all you want, as long as I get the help I need. Thank you for your time

Ok for info, so everyone with a base knows, the base non-bose audio system is a components system. So the tweeters provide the highs in the dash,, and the door speakers are just cones that provide the lows and mids. The rears not too sure, probably another tweeter.

You have two options for just a bump better than stock speakers. You buy a 2 way/3way speaker which is an "all in one" speaker that basicall has 2 speakers in one or 3, or you have to buy a components set that come with two tweeters and two cones.

I hope this helps out those who do not know much about audio, and none the less a base non-bose stereo system.

As far as the tweeters and back speakers not working, I am assuming the metra plug for 370Z did not have the wire. Otherwise they should be working. The JVC i bought is way better than the stock system so I am assuming is just wiring at the plug

The base stereo I thought was basically a component system of woofer and tweeter left and right front. There's no rear speakers or sub with the base stereo. Usually instead of buying two way speakers you buy 2 sets of component speakers.

No you buy one set of component speakers. OP, I would recommend not going with a coaxial set and also looking at a higher end set of components in case you upgrade down the line.
