Also the mounting on the tweeter is 3.7inchs

I don't see a 4" fitting in the dash. Those CDTs are only 2.5".

That bass level control will come in handy at times, my front 6&1/4s seem to be working too hard to try and stay up with the rear sub

Thanks. It's this felt I found at Wal-Mart. It has a more course texture than usual fuzzy felt. It looked very automotive to me. Stretches nicely too.
