Door Button not working after speaker install
 

I just installed front door speakers and tweeters. Now my button on my drivers side door doesnt work.. I have to push to button on the intelligent key to open the door instead of just pressing the button on the door handle. The passenger side door handle button works but drivers does not. I reset the air bag light and disconnected the battery to clear the SES light. Any other recommendations to fix this problem? I have looked through the owners manual and cannot find a reset procedure if there is one. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

you may have disconnected a wire in the process, are you sure no plugs were left intact?

where would that wire be? somewhere near the speaker housing or more near the door handle?

The door lock on the door is not working? You may have popped out the cable. Snap it back in place and it should work fine.

not the door lock.. only the button request switch on the door doesnt work.. manual locking works and using the remote keyless entry works. i like to open and close the door with the intelligent key in my pocket and just pressing the button on the door handle.

How did you reset the air bag light?
