forget about us.... take care of urself... eat and sleep so that you can take care of ur dad... please follow my advice on this........ ur dad needs you and you need to care for urself to be able to care from him.....

i should know a thing or two on this.... you kinda know what i went through and still going too....

Me too,hope he feel better.My dad is alittle sick too.
When our mom and dad are in there 70's.You always wounder.
That's why i always say! Always let your love ones know,how much you Love them! Don't wait till it's too late to say it!

Over the weekend he was slowly getting better even though he was still intubated, baloon pump to pump his heart, fever, low BP etc all was going on. But suddenly last night, his condition was getting severely worse! They had to max out the Vent (artificial breathing machine) settings, start new blood pressure medicine, give him blood transfusion etc. He was getting worse by hours!

Today morning, they used portable ultrasound and found that the leaking valve in the heart is leaking much more severely than before. If they don't do something right away, he will NOT survive for long. The only option they have is to do an open heart surgery (triple bypass and Mitral valve replacement) ASAP. With his current critical condition, chances of surviving this surgery is pretty low but that's the chance I (we) have to take. If they don't do the surgery right now, his lungs will fill with blood and eventually his heart will stop beating.

The surgery is tomorrow. THIS IS IT! If he makes it through the surgery, then he will have a chance at a new life. Please say your prayers for him.
