It is great to hear he is starting to recover some of his motor skills; and the fact that his brain activity is starting to pick up gives us more confidence in his recovery.

It's great to hear that he is doing better, sounds like a fighter. Everyone here wishes you and your family our best. We hope he keeps it up, and you also :tiphat:

So, they cancelled the trach tube and simply extubated him! He is still on oxygen , but it's a lot better than breathing with tube down the throat. Now, he just have to maintain this progress :excited:

Thats absolutely great news! Very happy to hear you say this AK. Heart recovery is such a slow and delicate process but this is great progress! You and your family are still in my thoughts and I wish you all the best in this difficult time.

Wow, I'm just getting caught up. I can't imagine what you are going through, I'm very happy that he's starting to show signs of progress, getting rid of the breathing tube and machine is a huge step in the right direction.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
