Update on few things ..

1. First of all, big "thanks" to all the members who have chosen to display our forum decals on their 370Z. Thank you for your support. You can get our forum decals via Premium Membership . If you're a 370Z driver but do not have a paypal setup or not ready to support our forum yet, you can simply pm me and I'll provide a set for you.

2. We no longer have the "politics" section. As a matter of fact, we no longer welcome post discussing politics or religion. They are very sensitive topics. We like to keep our forums drama free. So, with that said, I'm looking for two new subsections for the off topic section. I was thinking about a "hobby" section where you talk about other hobbies you have or "Red Carpet (cinema)" section where you can talk about new upcoming movies, current movies, dvds, etc. or I am open to what other suggestions you have. Remember, No sensitive subjects!

3. You can NO longer (-) rep another member. I was getting numerous pms everyday from members complaining about their neg rep. Members do not realize that I can see EVERY single negative reps and who left them. Some of them were so arrogant and disrespectful, I simply couldn't keep this feature any longer. So now, If you find a great (helpful) post, reward the OP with a (+) rep point and if you stumble upon a bad, offensive post or a post attacking another member, simply report http://www.the370z.com/images/buttons/report.gifthe post. We will take appropriate action.

4. Now that we are on post reporting topic, allow me to thank all the members that constantly reported all the spam / offensive posts. Your help is truly appreciated by our management team. It's simply IMPOSSIBLE for me to check every thread. So, I take my hats off to you :tiphat:and keep up the good work.

5. When someone signs up at our forum, the first thing I send to their pm and email is a warm welcome and Forum rules. You MUST read and accept these forum rules in order to be a active member on our forums. I have been seeing some forum violations recently (i.e.personal attacks, silly replies with no values or useless(off topic) replies in tech section threads, signature/avatar rules violations etc.) Please take a moment to read(reread) our forum rules Nissan 370Z Forum - Announcements in Forum :

6. Changed the color scheme of the forum a little. I think it was really hard to see the Premium Member screen names (orange) on dark gray color. I think it looks pretty good now. What do you think?

7. I am also thinking about merging sub-section "VQ37VHR" to "Engine and Drivetrain" section. Engine and Drivetrain section should be the place to post all your engine and drivetrain questions. I don't think we need an extra VQ section. I personally like the idea of finding all threads in one place rather than constantly jumping to various sections. This way you can focus on one section, your threads will get more visibility (posts) and you can find answers easily.

8. http://i576.photobucket.com/albums/s.../forum5000.png

We have recently crossed 5000 members mark. I am truly thankful to all the members that signed up and kept the forum active. Considering the forum is less than 6 months old, the success is amazing. Also big thanks goes out to all recent (and current) premium members. Your help and support is highly appreciated. If our forum has helped you in ANY way, and you want to return the favor, there's no other way to do it than becoming a Premium Member. Not only you will enjoy special benefits but you will help keep this forum online.

To all The370Z members- without your support, this forum would not be where it is now. You guys are the real heroes. Thanks for treating this place as your own and we look forward to a very prosperous The370Z future.

Thank you
A.K.

Thanks for all of your work on this great site AK! My two cents, with 5000+ members there will ALWAYS be some drama. Please let a little discourse or banter continue. Some sites I used to visit have gotten so PC that I no longer visit them at all.

I can see the point in most of the changes. I hope people keep their posts friendly and helpful now that the concern of losing rep is gone.

I agree with the changes. I dig a good debate but there are other places to do it.

We have a good community here and there's no point in stirring the pot.
