Now that's interesting!!! Those are actually NetApp FAS 6080 (center lower), some FAS3200 series (right) and I believe some newer FAS 6200 (silver plates) storage devices with 25 trays of 1TB SATA drives. More than likely providing sliced deduplicated storage space for the forum database or storage for the cloud hosting the forum.

That's actually pretty good stuff. I'm impressed :tiphat:

Just upgraded to premium status. Thanks for your dedicated effort to keep going.

Interesting because I paid and got a receipt but I don't show as a premium member......

Did you pay with e-check via paypal? Then it takes about 3-4 days for the e-check to clear.

Looking forward to the new server!

Also, I think the tirerack banner can't get enough press. It's a great way to help the site while helping yourself. Everyone needs tires, just make sure you click through the forum link and you'll be supporting with your purchase.

:iagree: I put those words on the banner. I didn't want to make it any bigger as I don't like to clutter up the forum. But yes, it's a big help.

NO, we are not.
The new server is being configured right now. Trust me, you'll see the downtimes and know when we are on the new one. Hopefully by Wednesday/Thursday

Please note during downtime, you'll be able to get in touch with me via these two sources:

Hmm, I think any questions I have can probably wait.

Site has been nothing but good to me... I'll upgrade once the move is made for sure. Thanks for the good work to all involved in this site as a whole! Need to get some decals too...

doublea2527 07-18-2011 05:26 PM

Woo Hoo for new faster server.

AK370Z 07-18-2011 06:00 PM

I just want to let everyone know that in about half an hour, the forum will go down for the data transfer. This is the most crucial part of the server move. Things can go smooth or things can go horribly bad. I'm trying to keep a positive thought.

So, save up, close up, post up, reply pm etc anything that you're currently doing. Feel free to sign on/register to the THENISMOZ.com if you like or visit our FB page from time to time for updates.

Thank you and I'm really sorry for the inconvenience :(

AK

Logging off to help with the move. Good Luck AK!

Strongly agree!

I know vendors do the best they can and try to help premiums but it's like $3 off a $100 purchase which means I just won't get two double cheeseburgers one day....

If they put a larger gap in pricing between their deals for premiums vs non-premiums, then the "non-premiums" would sign up. So that part would be still $97 for premiums and like $115 for non premiums. Obviously that $115 part is still a deal because Nissan would charge $7,645.17 for that same part.

Thank you everyone for you patience.

Now lets dedicate this thread for the trouble or errors. If you see any problem or trouble or dead links or issues, report it in this thread.

I'm going to have a full POST SERVER MOVE thread in the announcement section later tonight or tomorrow as many members are still not able to see this forum yet. Only ones with faster ISP can view it.
