Wavehogger at the top of page 3 has a lot of good info and a link to install pics that I'm sure will help. I was looking for it earlier for you actually :tiphat:

Cool. Thanks for the lead and help! I also read somewhere that ae started sending detailed instructions at one point, so I emailed them asking for those. I'm gathering all of this info for Nima and the guys to make it easy. BTW, would you do anything different with the install than you did? Happy 4th!

I wasn't the installer, but it worked flawlessly. When first installed, I needed a new gasket for the sandwich plate and a crush washer. The shop had everything fixed before they gave to me and it never leaked a drop afterwards.

There are a few options on how you install this. I've had mine for nearly 4 years now and made a few changes.
The original install location is fine but will likely interfere with the chassis damper on the Nismo. I ended up moving my oil cooler to be sandwiched between the radiator condenser and the center support backed with foam tape. There is plenty of room to run the lines near the power steering. I also found that the original sandwich plate was too restrictive so I swapped it out for one with better flow and switched to -10 AN lines. Completely unnecessary of course unless you are flogging the car hard on the track with race tires. |
