Newbie 40th owner

Hi all, just ordered from Darkpath my id plates for my 40th, can't wait to have them. I bought the car in suburb of Montreal for a good price, comes from Santa Clara California don't know how it wound up here, it's #570/1000. i'm very happy to own this dream car. it's a bit rough, last owner did not love her as much as me. Just Had the wheels redone for curb dammage on all 4 and they came out perfect. i'm going crazy seing her in the garage, for the moment right now weather is like HELL here -20C, need some advice for my drivers seat leather, worn and want to know if it's fixable if anybody got it fixed before?
i'm also waiting for delivery of a Stillen Gen3 intake, i also bought a Nismo exaust, just hope it will make a small difference.
hope to share with you all.

I actually found a leather repair place in Cleveland that did the fix for me. They had to repair the leather first and then it was colored with a specially mixed dye. If I remember, it cost about $280. This was for the time to repair, and then $90 to specially mix the color. It turned out really well, but I got it fixed a week before I put it away for the winter, so I don't know how it will hold up. The repair place said that it should last a long time, but only time will tell.

Anyone have a really good way to repair chips on the car? Been highwaying a lot and getting more and more front end chips.

I also get in and out of the vehicle different than I did when I first got it. Back then, I would just slide in and drive. Now, whenever I get out of the vehicle, I put the seat all the way back as this gives more room for my hips to clear the seat. Also, I noticed that when I wear my cell phone on my left side, it may have added to the wear in the seat.

your best bet is to get the front resprayed by a shop you could do it every few years to keep it looking great  mine is also going to need a respray soon. still looks great but drivers me nuts while detailing it up close and personal, you can see every little ding in it! I also have a couple chips on the hood I want fixed :ugh2:

Congrats on your purchase!

You bought yours around when I got mine back in 2011....it was hard just driving it into a garage and waiting till spring :(

Hopefully you can meet up with some other Z's in Montreal and other areas. There is Z Society and MontrealVQ....
