RFT Tires Stock on the 40th??

So when I bought my 40th it was a dealer demo car and had around 5100 miles on it. My rear tires were Run Flats and I always thought my fronts were as well. On closer inspection I don't see the RFT imprint on the front tires.

Are RFT tires stock on both the front and rear on the 40th? Just curious why I seem to have RFT on the back and non-RFT on the front!

Is this an option possibly that the dealer added on for this particular 40th? Or do you think they may have been added later? I'm trying to figure out why I have two on the rear and they're not on the front! I recently replaced the rears and was about to replace the fronts only to realize they aren't run flats. Now it seems the only logical thing to do is put RFT's on the front to match the rears!

Did you buy the car used?

It was a dealer demo car. The owner of the dealership drove it and put 5k miles on it. I bought it and am the first registered owner but I suppose sort of used yes.

Hmmmmmmm... I want to say that they probably ran over a nail or beat the piss out of the tires, then when it came time to sell probably bought a used set of tires and slapped it on.
Yeah, a long shot, but someone on this forum eBay'd a used tire and got a RFT without even knowing

Did you replace the rears with RFTs? Is that what I read?

The car had RFT's on the rear when I bought it. Actually 2000 miles after I bought the car one of the tires had to be replaced and I paid $400 to replace it. So fast forward to now and I explained to the dealer how I didn't think I should have had to pay for that tire and the dealer ended up doing a buy one get one free on the rear RFT's to replace the worn down rear RFT's on the vehicle.

Had I known the front tires weren't RFT's I would have bought different tires. But between my assumption that the RFT's were all around and them offering me the buy one get one free I figured replacing the RFT's with RFT's just made sense!

how can you have worn out tires at 5K miles? they are not even fully broken in untl 1200 miles.

I got almost 30K out of my stock sport 19 before they were done. I would contact owner of that dealer and tell them you want all 4 brand new tires or you will be going to Nissan and BBB. Sounds like took you for a ride!

I'm pretty sure you misunderstood my post. At 5,000 I bought the car. When I bought the car the rear tires were RFT. Although I thought it was all 4. At around 7 or 8k miles one of the rear tours started leaking. The dealership asked me to buy a new tire. At 29k I needed to replace both rears. The original on the right and the one replaced at 8k. The dealer let me buy one rear and get one free. This is why I stayed with RFT's.

Now at 34k I need to replace the two in the front and realized the 2 in the front aren't RFT's!
