Nismo spoile on a 40th?
I really like the way Nismo's look, and I think what sets them apart most is the spoiler. Has anybody tried placing a Nismo spoiler on a 40th? It shouldn't be too much work right?

Here's a video of a 40th Fairlady Z rear with Nismo bumper and spoiler - looks great!:
Z34?370Z???????? - YouTube This will give you an idea of what you'll probably have to do because the mounting holes will probably be different. This shows a sport package 370z rear spoiler being installed on a 370z without a rear spoiler: http://www.the370z.com/diy-section-d...r-spoiler.html |
Thanks, any idea what this would be cost wise?

According to this post, the NISMO spoiler(not the S-tune version), is very expensive - over $2400 plus paint... but it doesn't need any new holes drilled.... see jazz.41's entries...
http://www.the370z.com/exterior-inte...ort-coupe.html However, IMO, it doesn't look right without the NISMO rear bumper as well - looks too tacked on - unless you do a full NISMO body conversion, i think just the spoiler will look 'uncool' - just my opinion. Picture credits to jazz.41: |
You can get the Dureflex N-2 FRP replica or Seibon CF Replica for a lot less! $400/$600 vs $2,500. It's up to you.
