Fading by Inside Door Handle

When I bought my car, the suede by the door handle was sort of worn/faded... anyone else have this problem? Any success with dying?

I might just end up getting both sides reupholstered.

Mine is fading too. I'll let it keep fading and then probably either buy a new one or have it wrapped in red CF or leather.

If you check the website for the Alcantara they have cleaning instructions for various stains/problems. I had to use water with a little lemon juice brushed lightly with a soft brissled toothbrush. Came out a lot better for me.

Although I am think about having the panels done in matching red leather. Just haven't got around to it or gotten a price for it......

Its not really dirty thought, it is thin and faded... almost like a whitish color. I bought it last year so I guess the guy/girl that owned it went in and out a lot or leaned/rubbed against the handle.

I just looked at mine and saw some variations in color but it changed depending on what direction I was looking at it from. Do you have some pics?

I have the same problem. Curious if this is happening with the grey/ persimmion interior.

I'm sure it will happen with all colors, the red just shows more I'm sure.

Mine was also thinning out as well, maybe not so white but definitely dirty and thinned out. But when I used the soft bristled brushed it seemed to pull the fibers back up in a way..... it almost helps to lift the fabric. Just make sure you brush in one continuous direction, I went from front to back and it worked out good. Check the site and fallow the directions it will turn out pretty good:tup: GL

sidenote:
My buddy was able to get a cola stain out of his by fallowing the directions so I think they are pretty accurate.
