40th Anniv Price?

Just wanted to check if anyone did a recent purchase... I found one for 39.5K OTD. Is this price ok considering that the 2011s are out soon? Thanks for the input(s).

The one I'm looking at has 14 miles on it. Brand spankin' new!!! Where are you at? I'm in SoCal.

CERBERUSlucid 11-01-2010 04:53 PM

Socal as well bro...
Let me guess you went to the Miller in Van Nuys Right

CERBERUSlucid 11-01-2010 04:54 PM

Yeah Im also looking for a Mint New One...

CERBERUSlucid 11-01-2010 04:59 PM

but to keep on track…I think 39.5k is still to high for the car...especially with the 2011 cars coming. but I would still probably pay the 39 for the ride...If your like me and want it that bad, 40k would be my limit

I was offering 37.5 then later 38.5 and he won't bite. :shakes head:

CERBERUSlucid 11-01-2010 05:14 PM

really?!!!! WOW! As far as I know on what others paid, 38.5 should have sealed the deal for you...Huh maybe we've dealt with the same sales rep...but I guess there are only a few left in Cali for sale

I think alot of the 40th owners bought it near invoice ($36,500 before tax, fees, and registration) in California. So if you add 8.5% tax and license, then $39,500 OTD seems like a fair price. Go for it!

Got mine 3 weeks ago for 37k and change....In Oklahoma City you don't pay taxes, tags, etc at the dealership, you pay it at the tag agency.

Good luck to you OP!

I Paid 37k out the door for my 40th edition back in May.. I think if you find the right dealer they will be willing to negotiate. I recommend you try contacting them via e-mail first... good luck
