Sooooo Close....!
I just put a deposit down on a Nissan 370Z 40th Anniversary Edition! I tossed around almost every type of car for the last year and a half from Roadster to GT-R to Cayman S. I love the color of the 40th and the fact that it is 1/1000. I plan on keeping the car forever and making it a garage queen more or less (I know...I know...most people will disagree, but I am fortunante to have a DD provided for me through work already).
Ever since I parted with my 2007 350z I have missed it and I am finally happy to be back in a Z! I was able to get out of a lease, which I was about $3000 upsdie down on, and still get it for invoice! I don't want to get too excited yet because you know how things can go with dealers, but hopefully I will be driving it next week! Thanks for all of the great information! |
Hope it all works out for you. Congratulations and keep us all posted and be sure to post pics when you get her!

0090 / 1000 is my new baby's build number....SWEEEET!!!!! |
Quick update: I'm pretty disappointed...as soon as I got offered this deal I gave the dealer the deposit and it all depended on if I could get a loan approved from PenFed in time.
The deal was, I was going on vacation for two weeks and needed to get approved in 72 hours (before I left). PenFed said no problem! Well, as my luck would have it, PenFed lowered their used car rates and had a major influx of credit apps. They said I would get approved, but it was a matter of time...and it was too late so I had to pull my app. The dealer refunded my money and said he hoped it would be available when I returned. I got an e-mail from him saying he sold it for more than what he offered me and he couldn't get another one! Anyway, I am disappointed, but still on the hunt for a Z...back to square one! |
