Here's a couple of handy threads that teaches you how to do paint correction and detailing:

Adam's Polishes products are great. You may want to check out the stuff that Griot's Garage carries too.

Congrats on the Z! :)

Take some pics when you get the swirls taken care of.

Unfortunately, 40th quartz is almost as hard to keep clean and shiny as black. But when it's clean, it looks fabulous.

Hey guys. First post... need some advice.

I picked up my 40th last Friday, and already I see swirl marks on the hood from where the dealer washed it (I have not washed the car yet). They're not bad, but it's a brand new car that I haven't even broken in yet (300 miles on the odo). What would you do? It's unlikely the dealer will repaint the car, so I'm not sure how to proceed. Thx in advance.

I have the same issue with mine. i decided to take matters into my own hands to try remove those swirls. An excellent resource on detailing would be to visit this site if you ever decide you want to detail yourself.

My car stays clean (looking) and shiny even if I don't get to wash it.
I would change your wax/sealant.

:iagree: it is the same with mine, you need to get extremely close to it before you would notice it was dirty.................probably doesn't hurt that I am washing it weekly at a minimum!
