blank # of 1000

I know some of use have posted our last digits of the VIN to try and capture the numbers but I wonder if Nissan has any way of letting us know what our production number is of the 1000 cars. Anybody have a hookup at Nissan Corp?

shabarivas 04-21-2010 09:37 PM

theGreatGW 04-21-2010 10:11 PM

40th370z 04-21-2010 10:51 PM

I know the aprox.dates mine was on the assembly line between, March 10 and March 27 it was shipped at sea March 28 ,I ordered it March 10th an it wasn't on the ground so some time between March 10 and March 27 it was built.

It was at sea 12 days and arrived in Vancouver Port on April 8th',it arrived at the dealership on April 21st TODAY!! , Ill get my vin# on Friday when its gets out of the Tint shop.

Rui Z 04-22-2010 05:42 PM

So far my number is the lowest. I bought mine in february. Crossing my fingers for a single digit production number:). 501643

Billarf 04-23-2010 09:29 AM

I called NISSAN in the USA today, Fri. 4/23..

After giving them the VIN# of an Anniv. Edition 370Z, they told me the actual manufacture date of that 370Z. It was built at the Tochigi, Japan manufacturing plant. They do not have info in regard to say whether an Anniv. Z was vehicle #10, 226 or whatever out of the 1000 manufactured Anniv. Editions going to the US.

The Nissan USA phone# I called to get this info was 1-615-725-1000. Listen to the phone cue and pick the one for General Questions.

dropped1 04-23-2010 09:50 AM

#501737
Production date 12/23/09 (Wednesday) Location: Tochigi, JA

Just called, with my VIN they were very helpful...lets get a good list going of production dates and VIN's so we can try to narrow it down. Sure wish they included build #'s on the plaques.

When you purchase the vehicle ( at least US vehicles) on the inside of the door, where the door latches to the body of the car, there should be a green stick that tells u the number of your car. Its a bright green circular sticker........I think mine was 717 of 919. I could be wrong, but i just bought mine March 31, 2010, so maybe they just started doing this........

40th370z 04-27-2010 11:57 PM

I don't see a green sticker how ever the Vin# sticker on the door post states it was manufactured on 02/10 and has a Transport Canada number which is 986.

Last digits of my Vin# is 502763. Doesn't look like Vin #s will tell us the exact number are Annis are ,only the order they were built in relation to all 370z's , there is 1026 cars built between dropped1's 40th and mine.

Which month was yours built???

40th-Z-RI 04-28-2010 08:31 PM

my VIN # 502307

mine was a week late getting to RI due to floods. Glad it didn't get stuck in that mess.

Xan 05-02-2010 08:48 PM

So with Rui having 501643 and suengklee just adding 502699... we are more then 1000 apart on the vin's and can at least conclude the numbers aren't sequential...

kalexand 05-12-2010 10:49 AM

:happydance: My Anniversary 370Z arrived in North Pole Alaska 6 May, wife went and paid for it on the 8th. The dealership agreed to keep it secure and stored in their in-door garage til I return from my deployment (2 Jul). Now I have another reason to look forward to returning home as quickly as possible....VIN 502663.:driving:

Last 4 numbers doesn't help us find out what number of 1000 we are.

Since mine is #104/ VIN 1737. Must be only 40ths built in between VIN sequence 1737 and 1776...

onzedge 07-16-2010 03:21 PM

I found out today that my build number is 244/1000. My car number is 501889.

LMBmikeZ 07-17-2010 04:44 PM

For any Canadian members trying to get the build number, Nissan North America will forward you on to Nissan Canada for some reason. This way you don't have to wait for Heidi at Nissan North America or add to her work load!

Once I get some more progress, by Nissan Canada contacting me I will post the info need for Canadian members to obtain their build numbers!

Joka4411 07-18-2010 11:00 PM

i called and spoke with Mrs Heidi and she took my vin# and phone number,After about three days she called me back and said that my build # is 313 0f 1000, So if you just call nissan they will give you your build number, you have to give her your vin # mine is somthing like 501967
