Congrats on new purchase. I've been debating myself on a Z w/ sprt package- 07 Z4 M Coupe - and a 2006 cayman. Any thoughts owning two of the three?

3 great choices! I have had BMWs, but not the Z3 or 4. I imagine they are rocketships although very small in comparison to the 370Z or Cayman.

My BMWs were love/hate relationship. I had the 3 series. 03 and 08, one awd. Had a lot of stupid issues with them but they were beautiful cars that handled incredible. The stereo is horrible however always had to upgrade, and Got tired of the issues and being at the dealer so I went to Japanese lol

370Z had zero issues , handled very well, could take a corner with ease! My only complaints are visibility issues trying to merge looking right, and even over the front of the car and road noise but that can be solved with Dynomat. Also, the power didn't seem apparent in beginning. Overall though its a beautiful car and I was little sad to see it go.

I have only driven the 06 Cayman once but...... Shifting is seamless! Z and BMW shifting also very nice.. ! This car you are sitting very low but can still see, more headspace..the BOSE high end system is a must have option if you are into that.. the car has power in any gear and you will get in trouble very quickly, there is no change in the car at 20 mph to 100mph!! I can't say a whole lot but there is a huge wow factor of it being a Porsche alone and all reviews on it are about 5 stars where the only complaints are the maintenance costs. I got a 48month powertrain warranty and free oil changes since the mid engine is a real pain in the rear to even get to lol. But its nice to hear it whizzing in your ear when you hit that throttle!!

Thanks for the detailed reply. I'm afraid to bite off more than I can chew with the cayman and BMW as far as maintenance is concerned. Now if someone will buy my 1998 Kouki I can make some progress!
