09 370Z touring 7AT for Sale

Looking to sell my 09' PG exterior, 7AT, touring, Nav, lighted sills, floor mats so that I can Buy a 2010 roadster. The car is 11 months old, garage kept and 1945 miles. (1945 is not a typo.) Located in South Florida. Not in any rush but looking for a better price than what the dealer offered.

Obo

Dealers now are complaining that they still have new 09's on the lot and can't sell them. I am still looking to sell my '09 touring w/ 7AT. Nav and all other options EXCEPT NO sports package. It now has 2050 miles.

If you are seriously interested let me know.

Thanks.
Hal

:twocents:

Price might have to drop a bit for serious buyers to be interested otherwise ads like this are just a tease.

halrms 02-10-2010 01:06 PM

I will consider any serious offer...MSRP on the car was $35,749 one year ago

kailua 02-10-2010 02:33 PM

Yeah, I feel for you. You want to get as much back as possible. However the sad reality of 370Z pricing is that you can get minimum $5500 off any brand new 2010 370Z, this includes the convertibles. At least this is the case in Cali.

So this is why people are saying you should lower the price. Because, regardless of whether you have 1 mile on the odometer or 2000 it is still a used 2009 model and will take a loss.

Quite frankly you might have better luck selling it on Autotrader, or Ebay or even craigslist, because people are not as in tune to what the rock bottom prices on a Z are on those websites. People on the Z forums want REALLY good deals so this works against you. Good luck.

two reasons a car does not sell. price is too high or there is something wrong with the car.

Cars are a losing proposition.

The more important question is what paid on the other end of the deal for the Roadster ?? Is that the real money they put in your trade ??

kailua 02-15-2010 10:58 PM

I would guess MSRP or close to that is what was paid on the roadster since trade in was so high. Either that or they made it up on financing or some BS extended warranty. F&I guys at the dealer are notorious for tacking on extra crap to increase their profit margins.

halrms 02-16-2010 11:48 AM

Paid $1000 over invoice for roadster. No extended warranty, no added BS to sticker. Outside financing 4.49%....
