FS: 2009 Touring Sport, Platnium Graphite, Supercharged!
Hi All,
Anyone that knows me, knows I've been around these forums since the very beginning...An OG of sorts! After my very active stint on these forums, I mainly lurked around once I was "done" with the car. Upgrading little things along the way. You can find the first few years traced back to this progress thread. I'm not sure the pictures or videos load anymore but I will get some updated media uploaded soon - http://www.the370z.com/members-370z-...-progress.html The car was bought brand new, and I've been the only driver since. Without further delay, here's the good stuff. 2009 Touring Sport, Platinum Graphite. Current Odometer Reading: 24998 miles!!! Price: $19,750 The car is in New Jersey, and I prefer local, but I'm flexible and open to anything. The car was taken to R/T Tuning in PA in July 2016 for a complete overhaul of the ECU. It still had an original UpRev map, remote tuned by GTM for several years. Although the car had been great, I knew a true custom tune was always something I wanted. Hearing about the newly released ECUTEK and all the new options they offered over others, I took that as a sign and headed over to R/T for some love. Suffice to say, the car made more wtq and whp across the powerband.. Upwards of +30 in some areas. The car didn't just get faster, but was now even smoother than ever, and can only be described as feeling "OEM"...I will post the dyno sheets when I get home! (fyi, ~460whp) Performance
Wheels, Suspension, Brakes
I cant describe how amazing the car has performed over the years. To say its been rock-solid still doesn't do it justice. Its been flawless off and on the track! Nothing beats the countless Porsche and BMW guys (haha) walking over after every session wondering how this car is doing what its doing. I mean, some say they still smell the brand new car smell inside! I will say this, the front bumper has taken a beating and I hacked up the driver side to get more air into the oil cooler, but other than that, the car is superb. If you want a turn-key track monster with plenty of room to scale up/go faster, I'd be hard pressed to find something better. Full transparency here - I'm having a second child and simultaneously came across a unicorn of a car that I've been after for more than 6 years (Exige S in pearl white) - these are the reasons why, otherwise, I have track events lined up (paid for) from now until October, that was originally planned for the Z. I will append the photos, dyno sheets, etc to this thread shortly! I'm sure I'm forgetting things, but if you have any questions or concerns feel free to PM me! |
Forgot to mention... Car was recently corner weighted and balanced and dialed in at about;
-3.2F and -2.2R. I have the full image scanned somewhere. Just need to find it and post it up here. |
Bump, modifying price as I'm getting closer to deadline for getting the new toy.

One of the last updates...
Its off to a dealer that a family member owns. I will keep this post alive until it sells, here or there. Found of bunch of items that are being sent off with the vehicle; -2x brand new OEM RE0A Tires (265's that I had as spares for the front) -New O-Ring for the fuel pump access door -A bag of 20 or so brand new plastic clips (ordered spares for undertray, etc) *Brand new steering pump and lines last week. *Brand new XP10 brakes up front. Rears were still at 60% |
Any pics inside the engine bay?
|
I suggest all that are looking to sell their vehicles look to bringatrailer.com for reference on presentation.
Otherwise, what I can tell if the car looks good. GLWS! |
Thought my presentation was decent. I provided a good amount of pics. Wish I could have embedded into the post. EDIT: Just discovered how to embed my OneDrive pics, thank God!! All updated!
Also, I probably have a thousand photo's but nearly none of the engine bay. Super boring. Cover is removed with the waffle cover exposed. and it basically looks like it just has twin CAI's. SC is very much hidden...Here's one from its last visit to the dyno (R/T Tuning) https://lmu67w.bn.files.1drv.com/y4m...&cropmode=none |
Sorry, was on vacation, PM's replied!
