Salvage title with no background explanation. Did airbags deploy and were they replaced?

You may have more luck in a Z Facebook group. GLWS.

salvage title is a red flag to me, only know what the cars been thru

Nissan_Dave 06-14-2018 03:39 PM

I have original pictures from iaai (auction) and receipts from Nissan dealership on each part I replaced, NO red flags here!!

Nissan_Dave 06-14-2018 04:02 PM

This car is so clean you would never tell it’s salvage where or what was even damaged lol

CRiZO 06-14-2018 04:06 PM

A salvage title IS the red flag. Why was it considered a total loss?

Nissan_Dave 06-14-2018 04:51 PM

Every salvage car is total loss, reason why mine is because side swipe drivers side

California regulates savage title, including required subsequent inspections by the CHP after repairs.

Salvage title is an economic determination by the insurance carrier, and is not necessarily an issue with the ability to repair the car.

Thus, salvage title in CA is not always a risk if you do your homework. In fact, there are many competent and trustworthy car dealers who specialize in repairing and dealing with salvage titled autos.

Just an FYI.

True, and thank you for the input :)

Best salvage buy is a theft recovery, where they just replace missing stuff. Damage is always a risk, it would help if you post damage pics.
