Thinking of selling my 2012 Z

I have my wrecked pearl white 2012 base sport with 35k miles I've jumped a curb & hit a fence about couple months ago. I've took it to local body shops, quotes are to high no insurance on it so I'm stuck on if i should sell or keep it. I have title in hand what you guys think the cost would be to find used parts or sell as is?

no where in his post does it say he is driving it. If the quotes he got were expensive to fix the damage, I doubt the Z was functioning. How much are you looking to sell it as is?

Wonka read the post correctly. Op stated that he jumped a curb & hit a fence about couple months ago.

^^^ Exactly.
Could be another troll, you have a 2012 Z that you own and paid for with title in hand, but you have no insurance on it???

The minimum insurance required by law in most states would not necessarily cover an accident like this. Typically, only liability is required, in which case insurance only pays out to the other party. I will never drive a car without also having collision insurance, but there are plenty of people out there who do.

This is true, but in this day and age, I didn't think anyone would drive a car like this without it being 100% covered on all corners.

Agreed. A rusted out 1984 Honda Civic with 400K miles on it doesn't necessarily need collision insurance. If you can't afford collision insurance, you can't afford a 370Z.

Yes a stupid choice of me but I didn't come to look for judgement, I have got a lump some of money & cashed out on my Z I looked for insuance that were also high every month, this isn't no scam i have the car sitting in the yard for about two months tired of looking at it, would it be better selling as is and what could I expect for it as is or I can get parts for it one by one & slowly peace back together. It runs & drives it looks to my to be body damage maybe little frame damage not sure I jumped a curb

No ones judging you, just didn't add up to me, but it doesn't look that bad to where i would wanna sell it for parts, just take your time and fix it. Give yourself 6 months to a year if need be and you'll have your Z back on the road.

I'm here to offer my suggestion and not revisit why you never had coverage. You can sell it if it still drives but don't expect a lot. Look at book value and then deduct quotes to repair plus 15 to 20% if you want to move it quick. You must convince the buyer there's no frame damage. You also have so many parts that you can sell to recover some if you piece off your Z. It seems repairable though. Do you mind sharing the quote and the work they would do? You did not mention if the bags went off. Good luck.

Lol, I carry it on all my vehicles regardless of age as it doesn't cost that much more and parts can be expensive for an old car or truck. Regardless it's a no brainer for a Z unless you just got money to throw away!
