Sorry, it seems I started this whole post off incorrectly. I've deleted the unneeded information and edited the rest.

To clarify, the only thing that is wrong with it is the tic noise. Which seems to be a common issue of a piece of silicon piece getting in the heater core. I'll be getting that taken care of as soon as I can get it in.

The check engine light came on while taking the pics and video. It's been looked into and is not an issue anymore and was not part of the tic sound. I had things re-checked and everything is running correctly.

I'll update once the coolant system has been flushed and the tic sound is gone.

Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks for the reply. I'll be sure to keep that in mind. However, due to the removal expense, that will likely be a last resort.

Much appreciated and thanks for chiming in. :happydance:

Just dropping an update, the car is still for sale.

With the holidays here it has been next to impossible to get an appointment with a shop or dealership until next week. I do however have an appointment setup for early next week to get the ticking noise dealt with. Which as far as we can tell is this little common issue. http://www.the370z.com/nissan-370z-w...any-ideas.html

I had originally planned on having that taken care of earlier, things just didn't work that way. Sorry for any confusion.

Also, I may have not been clear enough in the original post. But, the price is negotiable. Especially the sooner an offer or purchase is made. Even more-so, if purchased before I put any cats or such on it.

About mid next week, after the work has been done and things taken care of. I will be putting it up for auction on Ebay. I'll be sure to drop the link to that in here when I do.

Thanks

hermit 12-25-2016 02:11 AM

While I believe I'm pricing this car as reasonably as possible. There are circumstances that make the price negotiable. So I can hopefully sell it quicker.

I have my personal reasons as to why I'm willing to go lower, for sake of expediency.

If it's of any help to understand why I'm having to sell the car. Or, any other questions or concerns. Please do let me know. I'll do my best to explain it and answer any questions, either in the thread or by pm.

With short detail, basically. I need to make some life changes, sometimes that means giving something up.

Selling the car is the quickest and best way to help clear debt, move, and try to get my life back on track.

With that all said, and the point to it all. Is I'm hoping to get my car sold as soon as possible. To that end, I'd like to make it known I am open to lesser offers than the listed price. As long as it helps me sell it faster. So, if there is anyone out there interested, send me your best offer.

If anyone has suggestions that could help, I'd appreciate that as well.

Thanks, and I'll continue to watch and update my post

Beautiful car and appears to be quality build and fairly priced. Hope you are able to find an equally quality buyer and able to get your life back on track in 2107. Good luck!

Thanks much for that bump and comment. It's a valid question, bought it back in 2014. It's a cover king for 370Z here's the Amazon link. Coverking Custom Car Cover for Select Nissan 370Z Models - Satin Stretch (Red with Black Sides) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003CXP0AC..._ooUyyb7Q08YX5

There are a few here in Atlanta that have Turbos and owners can't sell them, I wonder why? Amazing car though and Bump for you.

I'm not sure why they don't sell well. I understand if the price is far more than the cars value. But, that's not this case. I think it has to do with the stress it puts on the car in general. Thing is they hit high speeds to fast to have time to beat on it.

I should note mine hasn't been beaten on, or tracked yet. The original idea was to track it, but things changed. The videos were the most power I've put down, and that wasn't even redline. Anyway thanks for the bumps.

Lowering the price to $22,000 for the moment. Life just continues to escalate. I'm pricing it to sell quick. If it hasn't sold as spring nears, I'll likely bring the price back to what it was.

For now this price is only offered on this 370z website, in hopes a true Z enthusiast picks it up. Rather than just someone looking for a fast ride. The last thing I want to see is a pic of this car wrecked. It needs a good home, I'm hoping there is one out there.

I'll update my Craigslist and a couple other sites after a few days.

It is, however, all ready to go as is. It just depends on if someone wants more power.

I don't enter into this decision lightly. I'm keeping realistic, considering the current market. Other FI Z's up for sale with varying builds, some with more put into their builds, though more pricey, understandable.

Mine was a starting point. The plan was to continue adding and swapping out parts till I had a fully custom build that I envisioned. I wanted to try and come up with a bit of a unique build and feel. Completely custom made, so it wasn't the same kit everyone else had. No offense, that's one of the reasons I always wanted a Z, everyone and their grandma has a mustang or Camaro. But a fully custom built TT 370Z Nismo? I think not, well, I hope not.

If you have any questions, are interested or have an offer you would like to try. Feel free to post on thread or private message me.

If you're interested and serious about buying my car. I'll do what I can to help.

Sold....
It was purchase by braydo at a fair price for both parties. I'm glad he message me on it, I believe it's going to the right person. One that will take care of it and build it further. That was my biggest concern, I got a lot of responses from people that for what ever reason didn't understand what an aftermarket turbo is, most odd. I even got a message from a parent looking for a daily driver, with her kids I mind you  So, it was quite refreshing to come across a person knowledgeable in both the 370Z, as well as after market modification and twin turbos. I couldn't have asked for a better person to sell it to. I get the feeling you will see him around a lot in the near future with this Nismo.

I wish him the best of luck in his journey of adding more mods, and building it to his vision. That mod bug is already setting in :iagree: I hope the community as well as some of you with much more invested into your builds can help him out. Of course I will hang around to offer any assistance or advice I can.

I'm sure he will make a post before long. Until then if anyone wouldn't mind congratulating him on his purchase of this nismo. I'm sure he would appreciate that, as would I as well. :happydance:

I truly hope he has a fun venture in-head of him.

Also, I'd just like to thank the rest of you that commented in this thread. It was most hopeful. :tiphat:

I appreciate the reply, I think it's a matter of luck and timing. Just have to come across a person that wants it and be able to meet in the middle on price. Yea, glad it's going to someone knowledgeable and in to the enthusiast side of things. Being that he is a member already tells me that he's been looking for the right one to come along for awhile.

It's like, 80% of the people contacting me really had no clue what a 370Z is. Let alone what after market turbos are, they thought it was on there stock. One guy was confused, he swore it was a Porsche even though the add stated clearly what it was. A few others were looking for a daily driver, but each had two or more kids? I don't think I made it apparent enough it's only two seats, and not so amazing in Wisconsin winter.

So, Yea, it's such a beautiful amazing car, and I would keep it if I could. However, it's time to let it go. I just desperately more than anything else want it to end up in the hands of someone that knows what the car is, the mods are, and knows how and where to go to add more mods, tune, or maintenance. In my talks with him, I can tell the mod bug is in full effect. And from what I've heard about his plans, I'd say he's on a great track.
You can't just go anywhere, especially when you need the person working on it to be a professional on modified cars.

It just takes that special person, and one that can create a vision of what they could do, or want to do to modify the car. Set a plan and make it happen. I have no doubt braydo will make this car into some phenomenal. It's got a great start already.

Though, he doesn't seem to want the OEM parts that were removed. Pretty much the original exhaust, intakes and oem radio(non-Bose.) So, those will likely end up for sale before long as well.

Anyway I appreciate your time. I just wanted to let anyone that's been watching this thread. That it has sold, and hopefully get a grats and welcome early for him.
:driving:

hermit 01-21-2017 02:55 AM

Ah sorry, I'll try and keep my posts shorter. I have a tendency to put far more information then necessary.

braydo25 01-21-2017 11:39 AM

Thanks Hermit!

I'm really excited to receive the car. I've owned and worked on and built multiple modified vehicles in the past (Personally owned - 2jz S13, Cadillac CTSV, '13 GTR), as well as a 350z (I sold my 03 Z just recently after 7 years of ownership to buy this particular car :D ) So this Nismo Z to me is an already spectacular driver's platform with a big cherry on top thanks to the additional mods and custom bits that Hermit has done to it.

Needless to say I am excited and will be active here on the forums :hello:

hermit 01-21-2017 11:52 AM

Knowledgeable and experienced indeed. I'm glad your eager, no we just have to get it to you so you can have some fun. And, yea that's a lot of nice cars you've owned. This one will not disappoint.
